We will arrange the transportation from Mérida, Yucatán airport to our hotel. Following that, we’ll host a welcome dinner to kick off the trip and provide an introduction to the upcoming adventures.

DECEMBER 6

Following breakfast, we’ll board a train to Escárcega. Once we arrive at the train station, we’ll head to the stunning archaeological site of Balamku. After enjoying lunch, we’ll experience one of nature’s most fascinating spectacles: millions of bats returning to their cave! It’s sure to be an unforgettable sight. Afterwards, we’ll continue our journey to Xpuhil.

DECEMBER 7

We will explore two breathtaking archaeological gems: the ancient wonders of Becán and the mystical ruins of Chicanná. Prepare to be enchanted by their storied pasts and hidden secrets as we delve into the heart of these remarkable sites!

DECEMBER 8

Our adventure will unfold as we delve into the captivating world of archaeology at Xpuhil, Río Bec, and Hormiguero. Prepare to be enchanted by the remarkable remnants of ancient civilizations, where every stone tells a story and each site reveals the mysteries of a bygone era. Join us as we explore these extraordinary treasures, immersing ourselves in the rich heritage and breathtaking beauty that awaits at every turn. Today, we will explore Calakmul during the day and then head to Campeche for the night.

DECEMBER 10

On our journey back to Mérida, get ready for an extraordinary detour to the breathtaking ruins of Edzná! This hidden gem of ancient Mayan architecture promises an unforgettable adventure as we explore its majestic stepped pyramids and intricate ceremonial structures. Immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture that once thrived here, all while surrounded by the lush sounds of nature.

DECEMBER 11

Today, we will escort you to the local airport in Mérida, Yucatán, at a time that suits you best.
