ITINERARY

OCTOBER 11

Our journey begins at Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City. We will meet at 2:00 p.m., and from here we will travel to the magical town of Peña de Bernal, where we will enjoy our Welcome Dinner.

OCTOBER 12

Today we will learn about the history of this extraordinary monolith and visit two delightful museums: the Museum of Mexican Sweets and the Museum of Masks. After lunch we continue toward Jalpan de Serra to visit its remarkable Franciscan Mission, a fascinating jewel of the Sierra Gorda. We then continue to Xilitla.

OCTOBER 13

Today we will explore the surrealist garden of Sir Edward James—its unfinished structures and dreamlike architecture hidden within lush vegetation. After lunch, we will visit the Leonora Carrington Museum, beautifully designed, where we will learn about her life, her vision, and her artistic legacy. By late afternoon we will travel to San Luis Potosí.

OCTOBER 14

Today we embrace the colonial beauty of San Luis Potosí. We will visit its Cathedral, the Regional Museum, and the extraordinary Mask Museum—a vibrant encounter with ritual, symbolism, and cultural tradition. Also, we will visit the second Museum dedicated to Leonora Carrington, a gem in San Luis Potosí.

OCTOBER 15

We continue toward Real de Catorce, a mystical, enigmatic destination full of silence and stories. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a walking tour through this unforgettable village suspended in time.

OCTOBER 16

This morning we visit the Socavón de la Purísima and the historic Station 14. Later in the afternoon, we will ride horseback to Cerro del Quemado, a sacred place with breathtaking landscapes—a moving and unforgettable experience.

OCTOBER 17

Today we visit the local museum and learn about the Wixárika (Huichol) culture. We will enjoy an intimate and meaningful experience focused on traditional medicine and ancestral knowledge.

OCTOBER 18

Returning to San Luis Potosí, we will visit Santa María del Río, famous worldwide for its exquisite handwoven silk rebozos and traditional inlaid wooden boxes. A memorable encounter with craftsmanship, heritage, and extraordinary beauty.

OCTOBER 19

At the time of your convenience, we will transfer you to San Luis Potosí International Airport.
